I'm dreading having my arms on full show. What's the quickest way to tone up bingo wings?
To tone up the arms, it's important to choose an exercise that will combine burning calories while also working the muscles. In the Well Jel workout on the DVD, we use water bottles as light weights which work the biceps and triceps, whilst also burning calories to squats and lunges. The constant pushing and pulling motion combined with cardio will help you to strip down your arms and be more confident with them on show.
I'm getting married in six months. What exercises will get me toned up quickly?
Six months is plenty of time! I would recommend trying the DVD at least three times a week for maximum results. During the Well Jel workout, we do lots of 'own body' weight exercises such as push ups, tri-cep dips and squats. These toning exercises are performed in a fast paced circuit, allowing less recovery time.
To enhance your DVD workout, try 20 push ups, 20 tri-cep dips, 20 squats, 20 power squats with star jumps in between, and only a 40 second break. Complete this circuit 4 times. This will not take very long but will really take the heart rate up as a sprint would. You could also try mixing in other exercises as you get familiar with the ones suggested.
What changes should I make to my diet in order to look fabulous on my wedding day?
I think most people need to add more water and fluids to their diet. Most of us are dehydrated and end up eating, when actually our bodies are thirsty and not hungry. Also try eating 20% less of your normal portion size, and not filling up your plate or bowl completely. We tend to fall into the trap of eating a regular amount because that's what we're 'used' to. If you cut your portions by 20%, this will ensure a lot less calories per day and you will see the visible difference!
